hello

please I want to know how to switch back to s mode or know if with this mode my pc is exposed, venerable.

CAN YOU PLS PUT ME BACK IN S PLS

Hi there,

While you cannot return to S mode once you've switched out, many of S mode's protections can be enabled through the Windows Security app and settings. Please try enabling those protections whether your PC is currently in S mode or not.

    I had to switch off my s-mode to allow the PC Protect tech to complete their anti virus download.  I was told that it can be switched back on.  Is my s-mode now switched on?

    Hi there, Tom.  S mode cannot be switched back on.  Switching out of S mode is a one-way action, so once you've switched out you cannot re-enable S mode.  You can, however, enable Windows Security settings that offer protection against malicious or potentially unwanted apps.  You can find these settings under Windows Security > App & browser control.

    I would like to switch my computer back to S mode 

    but i would like to keep my apps i down 

    loaded after i switched out of S mode

    Hi Joy,

    Thanks for sharing your question and feedback. We know customers enjoy the safety and security of S mode, and sometimes would like to use their PCs in S mode after they've switched out.  However, switching out of S mode is one-way.  Once you've switched out, you cannot re-enable S mode and keep apps you downloaded after switching.

    im using Windows 10 HomeS and it stinks.

    no chrome

    no virtualbox

    no bluestacks
