Why is Windows 10 Bluetooth so so so bad ?

I am sick of connecting through Bluetooth on my Windows 10

  1. Disconnects automatically randomly
  2. Bluetooth is on but can't connect to the device because it tells that your bluetooth is off.
  3. Devices appear when bluetooth is toggled off, disappear when toggled on.
  4. Nothing happens no matter what you try. The only solution is to restart your device.
  5. After restarting, works for some time. Then randomly ... (please start from point 1 again).

I am so sick of this happening everytime. How can it be so bad? Is Microsoft doing absolutely nothing to fix this.

It makes me want to throw my laptop and pull out my hair. Then I remember, how stupid of me. This has got to do with my Windows, software. How will throwing my laptop help. And then I remember again; if it's a software - it can be fixed! Fix it please!! You made such a huge operating system, you can maybe fix a bluetooth.

PS - I'll check this thread later. I need to restart my system again, need to connect to bluetooth

    A little problem with your diatribe: Bluetooth works flawlessly on my copy of Windows 10.

    I just had to learn how to use it.

    I hope you enjoyed the wasted time calling the manufacturers and the time spent on the configuration which was supposed to be a trivial task...

    Just like on a mobile phone, after buying a high-end laptop you expect it to work out of the box. You try 4 different headphones and you have a terrible result in all cases. You try the same headphones with a mobile phone and then you try with other platforms. You realize that outside the Windows they work flawlessly and you come to the conclusion that it is yet another day with M$ solutions. 

    And it's not a unique situation. Most of the people I have talked about it have the same experience.

    I had the exactly same problem once, but with WiFi, not Bluetooth. The service center technician stated that the wireless card was damaged. After replacing the card everything worked fine.

    I challenged why the problem happened in Windows only because I couldn't reproduce it in Linux. The support guy told me that it depends on the firmware, which is loaded into the WiFi chip when the adapter is started. This firmware is developed by the device manufacturer, not the OS vendor. Maybe Linux was using a different firmware profile by default, which didn't cause the same errors.

    The same is applicable to Bluetooth.

    I just walked 15 min halfway across campus to the library. Only to realize that I forgot my wired headphones. My Bluetooth headphones won't work. So here I am pissed off and swearing off windows. Literally created this account to complain. **** Windows BT.
