I am DONE with Windows 10. I had to re-boot my computer this evening, because I could not get a pop-up window to disappear. Damned it, Windows erased everything again, including everything on my web browser (favourites, tabs, etc.) and moved-once again-the
files I had found earlier this month when I had this problem. I had to go digging (once again) through my hard drive to find them, and once again, put them back where they belonged. I am getting good at digging through my hard drive due to this, so I guess
that is something positive to all this ****. I knew something was wrong, because the back ground picture had changed, when Windows finally started up. That was my first indication that something was amiss. Back ground picture on the desktop had reverted
back to the basic Windows....and some of the other files I had on my desk top had also disappeared. It is very clear that I can no longer shut my computer off completely. I had been merely putting my computer to sleep the last few weeks, as I was afraid
of something just like this! My apprehensions were well justified. Apparently, shutting down my computer means giving Microsoft permission to wreak havoc on my computer, even after I shut off and try to delay BS, untested updates they are trying to force
on everyone. Is there ANYONE at Microsoft that knows what in the hell they are doing? Or do they just not give a damned? This will be the one and only Windows 10 computer I own, and you can sure as hell bet I do NOT recommend it to ANYONE. I will just be
thankful I can still use this computer somewhat, and that I do not have that blue screen of death that others here have had to deal with (and am sorry you are dealing with).
