I have already downloaded and installed KB4540673 on my pc. But still it is showing in windows update whenever i search for new update. I uninstalled and reinstalled the update but still the same issue. Any help what to do now.

With all the issues caused by bad updates, how do I decide to let an update install? You can't they are forced updates, that is the annoying part about Windows now, among MANY other things. You are forced to install an update that can potentially kill your computer and make you wipe and restore, losing everything if you don't have it backed up. In addition to that note. What flipping genius at Microsoft decided to change the Windows Settings interface to include the "Sign in" button, Windows Update status, and Rewards. I'm getting sick and tired of Microsoft making these superficial changes which really adds nothing to the OS (KISS). By the way, the status displays that "attention is needed" and when I click on it Update reports my PC is up to date. Yet another bug they introduced. I hope this **** is remove during the next patch Tuesday.
