Dear Microsoft team,
I usually appreciate your endeavor to improve and update, however these are not normal times. Due to covid-19, computers have become essential for work, school and food orders. In light of that, would you please consider minimizing those mandatory updates? Focusing only on the bare minimum that's absolutely essential to security?
My family uses 4 windows computers, and this is the 3rd (!) time I've had to re-install windows in the recent weeks, after faulty "updates" that conflicted with network drivers, sound drivers, and most recently MS store. It won't even work with "keep your files" - it forced a clean installation. I assume I'm not the only one experiencing this disruption and stress, and it's possibly worse for people who are not technologically inclined, and used to rely on technicians - which you can't access during isolation.
Thanks for your consideration
Hi
Microsoft don't follow this forum. You need to contact one of their support workers separate to this forum like I did. If you read my last comment from yesterday you will see I have passed the issues from this forum to the. If your computers are working okay, suggest you pause updates for a while.
