Cumulative Updates - March 10th 2020

  I have not successfully installed any Cumulative update since mid to late March.

  I get the same error every time - 0x800f081f.

  I have tried all the suggestions I could find to get updates working again with no resolve.

  I have turned updates off.

  Actually, I am one of the lucky ones, some of those that were able to get some of these recent updates to install, have suffered from myriad of issues....sound, keyboard, drives and in some cases the inability to boot.

  Someone recently had posted that this is public forum and NOT a Microsoft help line, my question for that person is why is the URL "answers.microsoft.com"?

Nope

If you are running Version 1910 you would have to be a Windows Insider or something of the sort.

Assuming they are already testing the beta version.

1909 is the latest version of Windows 10 for consumers.

(Your profile does not list you as an Insider).

Changelog for Cumulative updates released on March 10th, 2020 are as under:

1. Windows 10 1903 and 1909~~: KB4540673~~ (OS Builds 18362.719)
2. Windows 10 version 1809: KB4538461(OS Build 17763.1098)*

For Windows 10 1903/1909, It is recommended to install servicing stack update KB4541338 before installing the cumulative updates.

KB4551762 is now available for Windows 10 version 1903 and version 1909 that jumps the build number to 18362.720 and 18363.720. See this for more information.

I tried to update/install the stack servicer or whatever it is but my system says the update is already installed.  FYI I'm running version 1910
