With all the issues caused by bad updates, how do I decide to let an update install?

    Hi,

I note that Microsoft will try and force me to accept their updates after 35 days of pause by not allowing me to pause again without accepting updates. So they are in effect forcing me to install something which has been proved to cause damage. anyone know if I would have legal recourse to compensation for damage caused.
