I am going to uninstall all sound devices, boot in safe mode, and retry installing the Realtek one for my board now.
Realtek Audio device Code 10 cannot start and unable to update
My headphone and mic jacks on my pc do not work and I have been trying for hours to get my on board sound working. I got the realtek drivers from my board manufacturer and every time I install them I get (Code 10 : Device cannot start.) I have tried updating and I have the newest driver so I am entirely stuck here.
I have tried many different realtek drivers and none work, not even the one supplied by the manufacturer so I would really appreciate if anyone could walk me through how to actually get my sound working.
I have a Z390 Phantom Gaming 4 board and Intel i5 9600K chip.

2020-03-22T07:13:58+00:00 Thank you for your help so far,
I did reinstall in Safe Mode with Networking but was met with the same results. I included some pictures for context as well. I want to be using Realtek for my on board sound, which should allow me to use my headphone and mic jacks. There's also another high definition audio device which seems to be only for HDMI sound through my monitor but does nothing to help with using the jacks on the computer. The Steinberg CI1 is an external sound card that also works but isn't what I want right now. I only need on board sound working so I can plug a mic into my pc.
? You should be able to install the 6.0.8890.1 on the asrock's latest driver webpage.
Your motherboard does not come with Realtek HD Audio Manager. It comes with Realtek Audio Console, which you have to download via Microsoft Store after you install the asrock realtek driver (see the faq on asrock's website).
