I received the Patch Tuesday releases today. KB4532693, KB4537759 and KB4538674 dropped in the first wave and all installed successfully. On a subsequent "Check for Updates" KB4524244 downloaded and installed but on the reboot, it rebooted the first time but froze hard on the second re-boot with Step 2 information and a frozen spinner on my screen, no keyboard or any access. After about 15 mins I finally forced the system down. On the reboot, my Secure Boot flagged me that the keys were corrupted. I was able to get those repaired and reboot into the system. I rebooted a couple more times but no updates attempted to install. On a third "Check for updates, the same (KB4524244) update attempted to download but freezes the system at 94% on the download. Again freezes hard requiring a hard re-set. I tried flushing the Software Distribution cache but get the same results.
FYI: I am running Windows defender with VBS (Credential Guard and Hypervisor enforced Code Integrity on an HP EliteDesk 705 G4 MT with a AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics. I also have a similar set up running on an HP laptop (Intel i5), but the update installed fine on it.

I was able to use my laptop but it crashed repeatedly over the past week. Did a reset last night. It booted up this morning and I got into IE , Google and a few other sites then the new updates must have taken hold. It had worked for an hour and then bluescreened. Microsoft needs to fire whoever did the coding on the latest updates. They don’t know what they are doing and how many lives they have disrupted . My laptop is hitting the trash.
That is sad to hear. I'd likely toss it too in your shoes. And I guess my day will come. There is always a thread like this where computers bite the dust after a quality update, not to mention the feature updates. And the "quality" updates keep coming.
What is the laptop's make & model number? That can be Googled for its site. Does the manufacturer support it for Win 10, or did it stop at an older version? There may be a critical BIOS update there to make it compatible with these latest updates. Current BIOS version is in MSInfo32 (type into the Search bar).

Its an Asus TP410U , supported for Win10. Actually it just started working again after about 10 attempts but still has boot system corruption. At my wits end on what to do. It was only purchased about 3 yrs ago. And it looks like MS is taking no responsibility for this series of bad updates. Considering Apple or a Chromebook for laptop because I still have one functional PC that somehow has stayed running.
Turned on computer. Notice of Windows 10 expiring and needing update. It had remind me later etc. Couldn’t accept restart now because of a little spinning dot instead of arrow as the cursor. I have shutdown, restarted, let run... nothing downloads. It will take me to the sign in page...slowly...then when I put in password it just keeps saying...just a moment. I can never get past this screen. After while the screen goes blank but computer keeps running.
