Your Phone (We can't connect to your phone)

Hey, everyone:

I was trying to link my S9 to my Windows 10 PC via the "Your Phone" app, but the process didn't work. I followed the various troubleshooting tips provided by the support but nothing helped. I connected my phone and computer to the same Wi-Fi and it refused to connect, but once I tried the same process with my Windows 10 Laptop, my Galaxy S9 connected to the laptop.

Is there any way I could get my PC and S9 to connect to one another? The process worked instantly on my laptop and the picture I attached to this thread didn't pop up on my laptop, once.

    Hey there Daksh,

    The problems with Your Phone on my Windows10 laptop commences from the moment the app is started.  It doesn't matter what phone I have installed the Your Phone for Android app on (and I've tried a Samsung, a Nokia and my current Pixel, all to no effect) because the Windows 10 app crashes before it can even generate the QR code on-screen to connect the phone to the laptop.

    Every app that can be updated in this sorry little saga has been updated.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the apps from both the laptop and the mobile phone.  I've cleared caches on both apps.  You name it, I've done it.

    All to no effect.

    Try to connect with different Wi-Fi network and check same problem or not. Also try to check in Other PC with your Android mobile, and check PC got error or Phone got error. In 11 April photo, go to android is worked or not? Try to update Windows Update, may be problem can be solve. 

    Can you send Other Photo except this. That showing other app it may be in Phone or PC.

    Reply again until you got solution.

    Try to update "your Phone " app on PC with Microsoft store. Also update app in Android mobile. May be Tou have not grant permission that requires to run "Your Phone Companion" app.  

    If your PC app crashes then you need to do repair and terminate option by following :windows 10 setting--apps--apps and features.

    This will work 100%.

    Otherwise uninstall and install "Your Phone" app in PC. 

    Reply again if problem not solved.

    Hey there Daksh,

    I've previously tried both of the solutions you presented and, while the app on my phone appears to work just fine (right up until the moment when it's supposed to hook into the Your Phone app on the PC), the app on my PC still does that whole crash-and-burn thing that has been its defining feature lately.  The app crashes immediately to the state that I pictured in my post from the 11th of April, and really doesn't get any better from there.

    I got solution. It is very easy. 

    Go to mobile settings▶Apps▶Your Phone companion▶clear data

    After this,  Open app in PC first and then Android mobile.

    Do appropriate steps and your app will work fine.

    Not necessarily to connect via Wi-Fi router.

    ▶▶Need to fix following things on Pc:

    go to windows 10 setting--apps--apps and features find "your phone" app and click on advanced options and click on reset. Your problem clearly solve. if not, reply again.

    Until you got solution, reply again. I surely solve your problem.
