VCRUNTIME140_1.dll Missing: where to get?

When trying to open app Creation Kit (for Bethesda's Skyrim SE computer game) I get error: "VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." Reinstalled app 3 times--but VCRUNTIME140_1.dll is still not on my Win10 machine, as per searches with FileExplorer.

Went to Microsoft.com to download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (which apparently contains VCRUNTIME140_1.dll as default); but MS blocked download, as I already have the newer 2017 version of program (which is needed for Fallout 4 and FO4 CK, as well as other new games).

So I tried installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable, thinking it would provide VCRUNTIME140_1.dll---but it does not.

How do I get VCRUNTIME140_1.dll? Using Google, there are internet ads from no less than FIVE 3rd party providers on the web offering to "help" with free downloads of this specific .dll--so it seems I'm not the only app user experiencing this problem. Google it, or use Edge, and see for yourself.

But I'd prefer to get this file from Microsoft if at all possible, unless there is a specific 3rd party provider you can recommend. Can you help me?

Did you download and install both the x86 and x64 versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 - 2019 Redistributable, that should resolve this provided you install both versions . . .

Installing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019 resolves this issue. Download it from following link:

Make sure to download the right version (x86 or x64).

I still faced the error but then i found out i i stalled the x86 instead of x64 😂

it's not a good example because Visual C++ are free so you have nothing to lose expect some mb, so i would be happy to have a "18-wheeler with 3 spare trailers" for free which also solves my problems.

Why do people keep insisting on installing Visual C++? I don't fking NEED Visual C++. I see people reporting the problem on games, on MS Office fcol. I need this fixed for a 3D CAD program. I don't need nor want to install a programming tool that I don't use. It's mind boggling that MS did not simply step in with an honest download link of the required file. ONE FILE! and indicate where to drop that file. Installing a bunch of other software packages in hopes of accidentally dropping the needed library, is ridiculous. That's a solution fit for first line IT help desk people who are in truth bin stackers of the local fruit market, upgraded with a 2h "IT course" to fill the vacancies.
Imagine your car's exhaust dropping because there's a bolt missing, and the dealer telling you to go buy an 18-wheeler with 3 spare trailers because then you'll find the right bolt somewhere in the undercarriage. That's what this solution is.
