HAD WINDOWS 10 FOR 3 YEARS SAME PC. NO PROBLEMS THEN LAST 6 WEEKS BOTTOM LEFT HAD SCREEN I HAVE MESSAGE ACTIVATE WINDOWS GO TO SETTINGS TO ACTIVATE WINDOWS. I FINALLY WORKED OUT HOW TO DO THIS BUT GOT ERROR 0X80070002 TRY LATER.

I ALSO HAVE NO SOUND. AND SOME SITES HAVE TROUBLE WITH. LIKE WOOLWORTHS, I PUT THINGS IN SHOPPING CART LIKE 1 WATERMELON THEN 1 TEABAGS THEN THE 1 WATERMELON DISAPPEARS FROM CART. THEN WHEN TRY ON LOGIN IT ASKS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR PASSWORD AND EMAIL ADDRESS. THESE 2 PROBLEMS ALSO STARTED 6 WEEKS AGO.

I USE SEARCH ENGINE FIREFOX AND HAVE DONE FOR LONG TIME.

    You need to get into the BIOS boot order setting,

    When you start up your computer there is an screen that dhows the maker of the computer and on it there is a note of how to get to the BIOS.  When there look fo Boot order or Boot menu.  Make sure the USB was plugged in before restarting.  In the Boot order move the USB listing to the top and the you can reboot and it will boot the USB stick.

    After installing Windows 10 you will need to go back into the BIOS and make the HDD or SSD the first one on the list.

    Hi, I did what you said, I typed cmd at the search bar and than I clicked on Run as Administrator but after that on my PC screen showed that I have to allow doing changes on my device after doing this, what should I do?   

    Oh and another question scf/scannow I should write it on the search bar after I have allowed cmd or I should do just one of this?

    I went to Bios and Boot and as I didn't know what I was doing as I wasn't game to touch anything. There has to be a simpler way! My PC is my only connection to the outside world, my life line. There is a BIOS and Boot which one to I go to?

    I am not technology minded, sorry for that. I need things spelt out for me in laymen terms. Thanks lacrumb for the reply.

    You need to go to Boot as this is part of the BIOS but they have separated off the access so you do not have to go hunting for it.

    Okay when PC starts up if I press del it will take me to BIOS if I press F12 it takes me to boot.

    Which one do I press and what do I press once there? If I do this in steps then maybe I will understand better.

    Had DR PC come before Christmas as I stated. Looked in programs to see what was installed on that date. The only programs installed on that date was ROADKIL'S UNSTOPPABLE COPIER VERSION 5.2. Could this be messing my PC up? My PC was fine except for USB drive before he came.
