I use Microsoft product for gaming and recreation ONLY.  Anything for which I have to depend upon a computer, use I Linux or BSD.  I've seen businesses and people become inconvenienced to the point of crisis from having to rely upon Microsoft products.  Even when they screw up and destroy peoples' data, they have effectively no legal responsibility for doing so.

My computer also will no longer boot up after an update. I just assumed my computer died of old age, but it was really not that old. Went out and bought a new computer.

Hi looks like my pc just updated and is now after 45 mins still trying to load login screen

    Help?

What I had to do to fix the issue where it was stuck not showing a login screen, select  the restart

option, if not available press the reset button, if this is not available select  the power button, if not available turn off the power switch from the power supply, last pull the power cord.

Depending on what was needed, restart or reconnect items and start the device.
