Hi,
I did a fresh install of windows 10 on my laptop. When I try to install the AMD graphics drivers, windows freezes. After force shutdown and restart, windows freezes on the login screen.
Then, if I boot into safe mode and disable the AMD drivers, then it runs fine. But, enabling the drivers again causes the same issue.
The driver for the integrated graphics works fine.
I ran the dism commands for ScanHealth and RestoreHealth. There was no error.
I ran sfc /scannow. There was no error
Laptop: Lenovo Z51-70
Processor: Intel i5 5200U
Integrated GPU: Intel HD Graphics 5500
GPU: AMD R9 M375

You just need touninstall all drivers and software with DDU tool. Then Download Drivers from amd site . Then click on drivers- it will unpacking all to с:/AMD/.... When unpaking finish. and start instaling catalyst or adrenaline, you have to cancel it.!!!!! And go to device manager, find ur "GPU-Standard device" > properties> drivers> update drivers> browse> and choose с:/AMD/folder. And press install. After installing reboot and enjoy.)

I have done what you indicate, and when installing the latest amd stable update without installing adrenalin, after a while the system freezes and force a reboot. When I look at the windows 10 event viewer, I get a kernel error - power 41. I don't know what to do anymore... I'm currently using the 20/02/2020 drivers provided by windows update. Currently the drivers are version Adrenalin 2020 Edition 21.3.1 Recommended (WHQL) 3/24/2021. I have tried everything but nothing works....

I had this exact same issue on my acer nitro 5 AN515-42 R6GV model. The laptop was running perfectly and the other day it started freezing i wasnt even able to move my cursor and had to force shutdown laptop. Had to start it on safemode and disabling my graphics from device manager to make it working i thought what the hell happened to laptop all of a sudden there was never overheating issue laptop was running perfectly. I tried everything clean install windows 3 times lol but the moment i tried installing display drivers it froze again. Did everything uninstalling with DDU but same issue none of the drivers were working so i gave up thought my gpu is dead its a hardware issue as my warranty was also over i thought there is no point of getting a new board as its too costly but i thought how can my gpu be dead within such a short period of using without any overheating signs and other errors so i gave it a try sending my laptop to a local shop which my friend suggested that is really good they checked it the same day told me my gpu has minor faults which can be fixed easily and gpu will work again like new and charged me only 2500 Rupees for it lol i was so happy they fixed the motherboard and now its working perfectly again so if anyone has same issues plzz its a hardware fault not software just go to the local store not company plzz cause they will straight away tell u to replace the whole board,the local shop will repair ur board for so less if u have the same issue like mine cheers.
