Did EVERY GD thing and finally - the resolution was the BIOS update. Camera is now working. Lenovo is Chinese junk.

Hi community. After reading some members having similar issue, I have tried some of the suggested fixes, such as activating camera through F8 (nothing happened), Checking Privacy and Permissions setting in Lenovo Vantage app (all ok), and also in Device Manager I tried Updating Drivers, Disabling/Enabling camera, Un-installing and Re-installing camera.
I have then removed Lenovo Vantage app.
No success. I tried the camera app and Skype, and still getting just a black screen instead of the camera view.
Appreciate any help with this issue.

2020-11-25T05:10:30+00:00 I had same issue, turned out to be a software problem - camera wasn't being recognized after restart for system updates on the Ideapad S340. Not fixed after an hour with tech support, a camera uninstall/reboot and driver update and even a BIOS update. Thanks to this forum -- I got it working! I had to use Device Manager to uninstall the camera and delete the drivers. Then installed the older 2019 drivers -- thank you for that link. Then rebooted which reinstalled the camera automatically, and now it's working!

2020-11-28T19:54:26+00:00 I have tried everything, but the camera does not work with MS Teams nor Windows Camera app. The camera work with Zoom and Skype. I think its a windows - driver compatibility issue. I would appreciate if Microsoft or Lenovo provide a solution, more than a series of steps that shown to not solve the problem for many of us. My pc is a Lenovo Yoga 730 13isk.
