Levels in FreeCell???

I know this question has been asked before but the answers don't fit me. How many levels in FreeCell? I am in level 176, game 4330869. My average time is around 3 minutes or less. It tells me next level is 180. How many more are they? I don't even know if I'm asking in the right category but there is none for games. Thank you

I have won 8,960 out of 8,960 games at "Expert" level. I am supposedly on level 1015 and reached Gold Grandmaster 124. I thought perhaps hitting 1000 would change the designation to something else, but apparently it just keeps upping the number after "Gold Grandmaster."

    I'm in the mid-500s, approaching 10,000 games. It's damned addictive this game - the only one I play. And judging by the levels you people have got to, you might be similar.

    So far I have found two of the 9800 games unsolvable, but I'm told there's only about one in a million so I'm probably just not good enough. :)

    Does anyone want to know the numbers, so they can have a crack?

    Hi, according to information on FreeCell the only unwinnable game is # 11982, even a computer failed to solve it. Others however can be difficult and while I can usually solve a game in under 2 minutes I battled with one, on and off for 27 hours before I eventually cracked it so sometimes it's just a bit of perseverance that is required. Games that are deemed to be almost unsolvable are games #146692, #186216, #455889, #495505, #512118, #517776, and #781948
    I am now on level 872 and Gold Grandmaster 95.

    Thanks for that. 27 hours is a formidable commitment. The two that I gave up on were after an hour each, in four or five separate sessions on each.

    Why is this game so addictive?

    At that stage I was protecting my 100% win record after 20k odd games which sadly has become 99% although I don't regard having lost these five games. Stupidly, all 5 losses were caused by my playing while tired and falling asleep at the keyboard. When half asleep I must have pushed the OK button when prompted to end the game, normally if I can't go any further I unpack the cards and find what went wrong and then fix it. I find that that is the most satisfying part of the game for me.
    I can't answer your question about FreeCell being addictive but it is very, very popular and must have something. Personally I love a challenge and find that most FreeCell games do provide a challenge while giving the player a reasonable chance to win.

    So far I have played 23,282 games and won 23,277, best time .58sec
