I know this question has been asked before but the answers don't fit me. How many levels in FreeCell? I am in level 176, game 4330869. My average time is around 3 minutes or less. It tells me next level is 180. How many more are they? I don't even know if I'm asking in the right category but there is none for games. Thank you

I have won 8,960 out of 8,960 games at "Expert" level. I am supposedly on level 1015 and reached Gold Grandmaster 124. I thought perhaps hitting 1000 would change the designation to something else, but apparently it just keeps upping the number after "Gold Grandmaster."

    Hi Spyguy,

It had been so long since I played Free Cell I started off in Easy mode.  On that mode I didn't receive any ads, nor did I have to be connected to the internet.  After about 100 games I switched to Medium and Hard Modes (I didn't notice much difference between the two) but learned one had to be connected to the internet to play.

It was in Medium mode I began to get the ads.  The ads pop up after playing five games.  Each ad lasts about 30 seconds.  Sometimes I'm able to toggle to another website while the ad is playing and coming back when it's done.  Other times, when I do this the ad stops the countdown timer and will not progress until I toggle back onto the ad.

As for levels---I've noticed one goes up a level every 10 winning games.  I haven't lost a game in the last 10,000 games, so I don't know if, by losing a game or two, whether leveling up is tied to 10 wins or 10 games.

I'm currently at Gold Grand Master 161---It takes 50 games or five levels to go up in title status.

Levels--I'm now at level 1,204 having played 11,200 games and winning 10,967  WHICH brings up how many games it takes to get to the different Title levels.  I haven't figured that  out.  In other words, if I'm at Grand Master 161 AND it takes 50 games per title I should have gotten there after 8,050 games (GM 161 x 50).  So it took winning some 2,000 games before entering the different Title Levels AND I wasn't paying attention at the time to make note of the process.

Lastly STATS.  If you close out your game page and then re-start it there is a menu on the top left.  The menu has various toggles for different games.  Near the bottom the is a button for statistics.  In that pop out it will show you a running count of games played---won and lost.  It will also give you your average time per game.  Mine is 2 minutes 31 seconds.  There are a lot of people out there way faster than me.   But I've played a few games that were really hard and it took 8 or 9 minutes to solve--so that plays hob with one's average times.

I hope this helps and wasn't confusing

    Everett

    Hi spyguy326,,

Thanks for providing the level and title information. I wonder why Microsoft has never provided as simple a scoring list as you have just provided. I have been playing Freecell since 1992 but only just recently started using the Freecell version on the Microsoft Games platform. I am only at Level 175, having played 873 games but haven't figured out the Microsoft's scoring methodology. Do you know why other players on this website, who are at a similar level, needed to win so many more games to achieve that level? And did the adds you mentioned start showing up as you reached the higher levels? I haven't gotten one yet.

Wow! I had not seen this chart from spyguy326 and it´s great. I just started playing this year and have played  3,150 games, won 3,045 because of the COVID-19 self-quarantine! I do medium difficulty.  Looking at this chart, I just saw I am only 1 level away from Grandmaster Silver 1!! Yipee.

    Hi there

    I'm on level 2237

    Gold grandmaster 368

    Games won 83276

    Best time 24"

    I will stop at 100000

I see ads every 5 games and is very annoying.

    Each level requires 5250 XP. At level 2237 you have accumulated (5250 * 2237) = 11, 744, 250 XP. Congratulations!

The title at level 100 is Grandmaster. At level 101 it is Grandmaster 2.

Level 200 title is Bronze Grandmaster 1

Level 300 title is Silver Grandmaster 1

Level 400 title is Gold Grandmaster 1

Level 1000 title is Gold Grandmaster 121

Level 2000 title is Gold Grandmaster 321

    Level 2237 title is: 321(level 2000) + trunc(237/5) = Your title of Gold Grandmaster 368
