Additional Information for users hitting temporary profile issue on 21/02/2020:
Microsoft is aware of some customers logging into temporary profile after installing KB4532693, on both versions 1903 and 1909.
*To boot into Safe mode, Click Shift+Restart button on the login screen, select Advanced options>Startup Settings>Select 1 for the booting to safe mode. Restarting the computer should start the computer in normal mode. For booting into Safe mode, you would be asked for a password instead of a PIN if you have set.

WHILE UNINSTALLING 452693 MY PRINTER STARTED AND PAY PAL WORKED. LATER IN THE DAY MICROSOFT TRIED TO INSTALL ANOTHER UPDATE. SHUT OFF COMPUTER, TURNED BACK ON AND IT TRIED AGAIN TWICE MORE AND NOW MY LAPTOP IS REALLY MESSED UP! I AM NO A HAPPY CAMPER!

Have you tried settings, update and security. updates. pause updates for 7 days... click it for 7 days then click again and again. At present I have updates paused until 30th March and will extend and extend until Microsoft state that they have sorted this horror ad it is safe to install.

Is windows not offering you the temporary log in. It offered it to me when it could or would not recognize my proper details. When I did get in I immediately changed my password by simply changing the last letter of it to the next letter in the alphabet and the same with my pin. Just to keep things simple. These changes have been accepted and I am able to log in.
I have had a few problems, Initially your problem then having to uninstall and reinstall Win Optimizer and HP Printer software. Today I noticed the search box on the taskbar was missing and another reboot was required to get it to display. I will post any additional problems I encounter as and if they arise.

Hi I just purchased a Surface Go to replace my previous HP Notebook which froze, crashed and stopped working following the latest update to Windows.
As the latest cumulative update (KB4532691) is lined up for installation on the new device and the device is scheduled to restart I am wondering if it is still safe to install this update? I f not, how would I pause the installation of this update?
This issue has just set me back by CAD $1000 and I don't want yet another non -functioning laptop on my hand?
I WILL GIVE IT A SHOT. THX
