I had the same problem, installed an update and everything is gone. I am not a IT person but I read on here to re-start 4 times and OMG it WORKED! I figured it probably couldn't hurt but I never thought it would fix it. It is a home computer so it might work differently on a professional computer. Good luck!

Update 02/22/2020:
Additional Information for users hitting temporary profile issue on 21/02/2020:
Microsoft is aware of some customers logging into temporary profile after installing KB4532693, on both versions 1903 and 1909.
- Rebooting into Safe Mode* and then starting back in normal Mode should resolve this issue for most customers.
- You may uninstall any secure banking software or anti-virus in the temporary profile which may resolve this if the above steps do not help.
*To boot into Safe mode, Click Shift+Restart button on the login screen, select Advanced options>Startup Settings>Select 1 for the booting to safe mode. Restarting the computer should start the computer in normal mode. For booting into Safe mode, you would be asked for a password instead of a PIN if you have set.
Your Feedback is highly encouraged as it helps Microsoft in identifying the root cause.

I'm glad I'm not the first to say class action. This is like the wheels fell off a new car. The problem is the EULA probably waives any Microsoft liability for fitness of purpose.

2020-02-18T19:39:06+00:00 Well im sure after 200 plus updates the courts can find that it is a completely different program then the original product you agreed to . And since you paid for a operating product and nothing has changed on your end . And if you get a judge or jury to agree . Then the EULA is as good as there operating system

2020-02-18T21:36:15+00:00 Hi,
I have had 8-10 BSODs over the past two days after installing this update along with several of HP's driver updates. I am using an HP Spectre x360 15t on Windows 10. Windows keeps having BSODs on this laptop for me and right now the most common error message is "Driver_power_state_failure". However, I have had several other codes like "DPC_watchdog_violation", "Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal", "PDC_watchdog_timeout", "WIN32K_power_watchdog_timeout" etc. I have been logging each BSOD and might claim warranty with HP. I did try that before but they ran a diagnostic test and said that the issue is with the OS (Win 10). I am starting to suspect that as well as the number of BSODs has skyrocketed after the recent update.
Any help would be appreciated in solving this as I am in the middle of the semester and really need my laptop to function.
Thanks,
MG
