my camera is in black and white. How do I change it to color?

I was experiencing this same problem for a while and this solution works, responding to help others find this post.

It worked for me I am so happy been using Black and White for over a year. What I did was go into SKYPE the settings  then Audio & Video then Webcam settings the Color enable was greyed out so I click on default and then canceled it. and all my apps that use the camera are now in color. Instead of cancel you might try ok if that doesn't work. I hope this works for other people.

After 1year lockdown online meetings in black&white AND a complete update of our ICTdepartment that did not help, I confirm that just resetting the parameters in regular Skype solved the problem for all other purposes (zoom, webex, ...). Unbelievable.

I know. I’m sure Lenovo knows this problem and are doing nothing about it. Why?
