    Thank you so much.  I wish I had your solution a month ago since I stayed in B/W for a long time.  Mine got resolved by updating my camera driver which miraculously got me color.  Why does Lenovo have to get you to correct this condition by going through a third party app?  Strange and unprofessional.

    Hi everyone, 

    After playing around with drivers and camera settings for months, a Lenovo Legion support person finally solved this exact same issue for me. 

    Open a third-party app that uses your camera, like Skype or Zoom (we used Skype). In settings, you'll find an "enable colour" toggle switch. Pressing that magically fixed my camera on all other apps. 

    For some reason the factory settings for the webcam Lenovo used in my machine and many others (I have a 15" Legion) have it set to black and white only, and there is no "colour enable" option in windows settings or in the windows camera app.

    This actually worked like a charm. The colours are back.

    One thing though, I only needed to use Skype, not the bussiness one, just the normal Skype. The rest is exactly like what you said on your post. Thanks a mil.

    Man, this actually works! All the microsoft updates, device driver updates, restarting and uninstalling didn't work, and this, this, THIS WORKS

    Definitely an update bug, I just update yesterday and now after uninstalling device driver, reinstalling, checking for updates, it's still black and white. omg. 4325983476502875t$#%$@^Y$#%EYW$
