    IT ALSO WORKED FOR ME. I did eveything you did and even updated the BIOS. The Skype webcam settings fixed it.

    I didn’t know that. I’m still puzzled why these companies can’t correct it and we have to go to a third party to correct this condition

    The black and white camera problem is not Lenovo-specific I believe, in my case the laptop is a Dell Latitude 5590 from work.
