Error 0x800f0922 for 2020-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems (KB4532695)

Install attempt fails with error 0x800f0922 whether I run Windows Update  to install this update or run windows10.0-kb4532695-x64_a85fd28af075ebfd8b0753d2c2aca244e926c3ce.msu

Running WIndows 10 Pro Ver. 1909 build 18363.592

I have tried every suggestion by HiltonOishi in https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/failed-install-attempt-error-code-0x800f0922/c5eb31d7-f04f-4ff8-9d6f-f39e4f03944b

After the update installs I restart the computer and when it reboots it gets to 93% in "Working on Updates" then I get "We couldn't complete the updates Undoing changes"

Windows Update says this is an optional update. Should I just ignore the problem till the next update?

    Yes!! Thank you so much! I had to use the override parameter which was a little worrying but I was basically ready to reinstall anyway so I decided to risk it. and yeah, "set id=c12a7328-f81f-11d2-ba4b-00a0c93ec93b override" worked perfectly. I'm fully updated on the slow track now

    I'm sorry, I'm really dumb, that was the wrong drive. Unfortunately the correct partition (i think) is still showing a different (incorrect?) GUID

    I had to dig just a little to actually make sure I was selecting the right drive, and I think I found the system partition on it? For me, disk 5 (the only nvme drive) was the os/boot drive, so:

    I'm almost positive this is the correct partition, with an incorrect GUID. 

    Is changing the GUID a thing you can even do? My google skills are letting me down on this one

    You don't seem to have an EFI partition (Type System). Are you using UEFI or Legacy boot? Run msinfo32.exe and look at "BIOS Mode" under "System Summary".

    I set the EFI partition's GUID to c12a7328-f81f-11d2-ba4b-00a0c93ec93b as it should be and retried the Windows installation from ISO. This time it seemed it would continue, so I interrupted it and ran the update I had been trying to install, and it installed without a problem.

    I think this might be my issue, as this is what I see:

    how would I go about changing the GUID?
