SS3svc32.exe popping up on startup?

Hi all! So, for the past few days when I start my laptop the file SS3svc32.exe keeps popping up and trying to make changes. It pops up twice (I click no both times) and then stays away until next startup. I looked at the file location and it's with a program 'Sonic Suite 3' which I don't remember downloading and when I went to Apps in Windows Settings neither are listed. Is there a way for me to remove it? Thanks!

Wow, 8 pages of this.  

Did anyone ever think to go to the manufacturer of the motherboard and see if they have an updated audio driver?  Maybe one that fixes the problem instead of trying to find some wacky work around?  

I ask because I found this after deciding I had enough of that damned popup:

Now, I am no computer guru or anything, but I figured that someone, somewhere might have an actual fix for this problem since Microsoft doesn't fix problems with other people's software causing conflicts with theirs.  That's a long known truth about them.  So instead of trying to change registry values or downloading another program that "fixes" problems just do the simple thing folks.

That is *ONLY* for the Motherboard *I* have.  So don't go downloading the same one unless you have the same motherboard.  I hope this helps at least someone out there.

    Thanks to others suggestions of allowing the program to run as an administrator solved the problem. I don't think I followed the same path as suggested but it didn't pop up this time when I restarted my PC. As with others, I have an ASUS mobo running Windows 10 that had the same annoyance of these popups after the last update.

    Solution that worked for me anyway:

    • Open task manager
    • click startup tab
    • find Sonic Suite 3, right click and open properties
    • In properties click the compatibility tab at the top
    • checkmark the box for "run this program as an administrator"
    • restart your PC and hopefully this works for everyone else as it did for me! 🙌

    It can't be a certificate issue or missing digital sign: it started exactly with KB4517211 and if you restore prior to this KB you'll see no issue.

    Shame on MS and ASUS that didn't release a fix, yet.

    But This is not a solution!!! 

    At these Microsoft forums, we try to help each other, but we are no Microsoft employees. Nor programmers who can just fix software issues.

    I believe the problem lies in the Asus files are not digitally signed anymore. I'm not sure whether the problem is fixed in 1909.
