SS3svc32.exe popping up on startup?

Hi all! So, for the past few days when I start my laptop the file SS3svc32.exe keeps popping up and trying to make changes. It pops up twice (I click no both times) and then stays away until next startup. I looked at the file location and it's with a program 'Sonic Suite 3' which I don't remember downloading and when I went to Apps in Windows Settings neither are listed. Is there a way for me to remove it? Thanks!

Wow, 8 pages of this.  

Did anyone ever think to go to the manufacturer of the motherboard and see if they have an updated audio driver?  Maybe one that fixes the problem instead of trying to find some wacky work around?  

I ask because I found this after deciding I had enough of that damned popup:

Now, I am no computer guru or anything, but I figured that someone, somewhere might have an actual fix for this problem since Microsoft doesn't fix problems with other people's software causing conflicts with theirs.  That's a long known truth about them.  So instead of trying to change registry values or downloading another program that "fixes" problems just do the simple thing folks.

That is *ONLY* for the Motherboard *I* have.  So don't go downloading the same one unless you have the same motherboard.  I hope this helps at least someone out there.

    Have exactly the same issue on two Windows 10 installations since the last Windows update beginning of October 2019. 

    I have not changed anything on the drivers, this was definitely caused by the October 3, 2019 KB4524147 and the first UAC popup came on both systems right after the reboot after this update, on both systems.

    The file SS3svc32.exe is in my case located in c:\Program Files\ASUSTeKcomputer.Inc\Sonic Suite 3\Foundation\ and belongs to the

    Realtek HD audio drivers suite, which is used on many ASUS mainboards. 

    Hope some MS guy reads this, as those popups at each Windows boot are annoying.

    1. Find the file ss3svc32.exe in explorer.
    2. Right click the file and select properties.
    3. Click the Compatibility Tab.
    4. Click the shield "change settings for all users" button.
    5. Select the bottom most box " Run this program as an administrator"
    6. Apply then ok.

    This worked for me.

    It appears that valid versions of this Sonic Studio 3 software may come with or possibly be downloaded within other software packages such as the Realtech HD audio drivers for Asus based computers.

    It's also possible it's malware, especially if the PC isn't an Asus or doesn't contain an Asus audio card or chip, so you'll need to make this determination yourself to know which is true.

    This started for sure after September 26, 2019 - KB4517211 (OS Build 18362.387).

    It's been reported by many users already and I opened also a Feedback Hub report:

    As far as I can see SS3svc32.exe task forces at every single launch a (re)creation of 2 tasks in Task Scheduler called SS3svc32Run and SS3svc64Run. This alone could justify UAC request, even though I see no modifications to Task Scheduler in KB4517211 changelog...

    Actually as Jörg Gutgesell said in one of the first posts it could also be a certificate problem, but for sure it started RIGHT AFTER installing KB4517211.
