Uninstall KB4524147 and/or KB4517211
Cannot print since latest Windows 10 update

Hi there,
One of our users can no longer print since her laptop got the most recent Windows 10 updates (her laptop is up-to-date as of this morning).
One of three things happens when she tries to print:
-- The application shows all the installed printers in the drop-down, but when she clicks print, nothing happens
-- The application shows all the installed printers in the drop-down, but when she clicks print, she gets an error saying there are no printers installed
-- The application does not show any printers
The printers are all showing in control panel.
It is not even possible to print to PDF.
I have tried restarting the print spooler service in services.msc but that hasn't helped.
Any advice?

2019-10-10T14:08:30+00:00 Running windows 10 Home with1903 installed. Update kb4524147 install resulted in print spooler placing printer permanently in offline mode whenever printer job is executed. Stopped spooler, cleared spooler files, restarted spooler.....results in printer showing in idle mode UNTIL a file is sent to printer when the printer reverts to offline mode. Removed kb4524147 and all jobs print normally.
Based on above discussion, installed KB4517389. As with KB4524147, print spooler places printer in offline mode whenever print job executed. Noted that when print job executed, spooler call to active device directory results in directory in use and not available resulting in printer being noted as offline. Removed KB451739 and all print jobs print normally.
