I finally solved the problem of my Invoke not making it through the complete setup process.
- I had to use my Android Phone and go into the Cortana App and REMOVE both of my Invoke Speakers.
- Then start completely from scratch with the setup process.
- Be sure your phone wifi is set to the same wife your Invoke will be set to.
- Then you will be able to completely set up the Invoke as usual.
It worked like a charm and now we have great holiday music playing for our family Thanksgiving dinner. I plan to use it for as long as it works. I also took the liberty of setting up a couple of devices like my phones and Surface's to also connect via bluetooth just in case things really get funky in 2021. The idea of unplugging it for an entire year is too much for me.
I love this device Dang Blasted Microsoft! There's no significant reason you should pull Cortana from this device! What's next the Surface Headphones? You're terrible at customer service for your devices! Most companies appreciate customer loyalty and will do anything to build it and keep the customers happy they already have. But not Microsoft! Yes and now the stores are closed and there's no way to have a relationship with real people who can help. If only they cared about something more than their stock. Like consumer customers. It's so disappointing!
