Harman Kardon Invoke Setup Failure

Hello

I've owned my Harman/Kardon Invoke speaker for almost 3 years now, and haven't had an issue with it until now.

It stopped working suddenly, and when I tried to reset it (by holding the mute button for 5 seconds) the speaker never finishes setting up. The Cortana device setup app says it's ready to go, but the speaker itself never says so, the light just keeps slowly blinking forever.

I've tried using different WIFI networks, re-installing the setup app, trying the setup on my phone, and I've even made sure all my software is up to date. I have a theory that the device can never be linked to my account for some reason, since it never shows up in the "My Devices" panel in my Cortana app.

If anyone has a solution to this, it would be much appreciated!

    I also have three not showing in Android app, I reinstalled all of them with a bit of effort, each took two attempts. They are all working but now none of them have sound effects as I can't switch it on through the app as they are still not showing. FYI they won't show up on new pc versions of cortana as it's a different cortana there now as they repurpose cortana for O365 😢

    Surely this is just a temporary glitch. Cortana was very slow for a time too, the speakers were all very slow to respond to commands and didn't really listen well and just sat there sometimes. 

    Interestingly for a short time they all started responding in Celsius to weather requests, I was excited as I want metric, unfortunately now they are a back reporting in imperial by default. Btw I'm in Australia.

    I have surface headphones that show up on pc but nothing on an iPhone app. I also noticed the slow response. the notifying beep is so important to me also. I hope this is fixed soon.

    The Invokes are showing up in the app again but selecting each device and toggling Cortana Sound does not fix the issue of no sound effects. There are obviously some issues Microsoft is working on in the back end. What an annoying time to mess with the features, while everyone is stuck at home in isolation for COVID-19.

    It seems that the Alexa skill is also broken. I have tried to reconnect it and it's not working. Is this the same for everyone?

    Sorry, it's working strike that one, there were a few issues but this seems to be working ok now.
