Harman Kardon Invoke Setup Failure

Hello

I've owned my Harman/Kardon Invoke speaker for almost 3 years now, and haven't had an issue with it until now.

It stopped working suddenly, and when I tried to reset it (by holding the mute button for 5 seconds) the speaker never finishes setting up. The Cortana device setup app says it's ready to go, but the speaker itself never says so, the light just keeps slowly blinking forever.

I've tried using different WIFI networks, re-installing the setup app, trying the setup on my phone, and I've even made sure all my software is up to date. I have a theory that the device can never be linked to my account for some reason, since it never shows up in the "My Devices" panel in my Cortana app.

If anyone has a solution to this, it would be much appreciated!

Had issues again as it stopped working with a red ring and orange light. I had to re-set it up again and it would hang at the "connect to wifi" step. I used the pin hole, held for a min (its hard to feel the engagement of the button in the pin hole), released, it dinged and completely reset. Shorlty after iIwas able to complete the set up via the cortana app on my phone. I plan to use till its killed off. I did get my 50 bucks and picked up a 3 Polk Assist new of ebay for 32 bucks each. The Polks sound great, work great and look nice. Oddly happy with them as i can use them with more smart devices in my home. I tried to stay loyal to MS as the Invoke was a top shelf sounding speaker but i avoided Google devices for years and now MS has forced me to move to them.

since MS is discontinuing Cortana on invoke I believe they are slowly cutting server usage.

did you try the tiny reset pin hole good luck.

you might as well get used to just having a really good Bluetooth speaker.

and collect your hush money from MS

So now my Invoke will not even do ANYTHING.  It has a spinning green light at the top.  I can hold down any and every button but it does not respond to anything.   After unplugging it, it immediately starts the spinning green light.  AAAGGH!

Has anyone else had this happen?  It's just a constant yellow or green light that spins.  No button pushes or resets affect it at all.  Not even the "put a pin in the tiny hole" does anything to it.  :(
