I have 4 Invoke speakers that have never worked correctly. Microsoft never supported them and I would like a refund. My attempts at Microsoft providing any level of support on these speakers or the Surface pro 7 I just bought is futile. I arranged 3 meetings with to troubleshoot my surface pro 7 issues and they never showed up once. Microsoft has no support.
Harman Kardon Invoke Setup Failure
Hello
I've owned my Harman/Kardon Invoke speaker for almost 3 years now, and haven't had an issue with it until now.
It stopped working suddenly, and when I tried to reset it (by holding the mute button for 5 seconds) the speaker never finishes setting up. The Cortana device setup app says it's ready to go, but the speaker itself never says so, the light just keeps slowly blinking forever.
I've tried using different WIFI networks, re-installing the setup app, trying the setup on my phone, and I've even made sure all my software is up to date. I have a theory that the device can never be linked to my account for some reason, since it never shows up in the "My Devices" panel in my Cortana app.
If anyone has a solution to this, it would be much appreciated!

2020-10-10T17:19:11+00:00 I own 3 Invoke speakers 2 are working but the 3rd is not. I tried resetting it too many times to count over the course of a couple of hours with no success. I will try the pin reset. But It seems that Microsoft is no longer supporting this device at all. It is no longer listed in the Cortana app in Windows 10 or Android that lists all of the devices Cortana will work with. The Invoke speaker is missing, just gone. No where to be found. If the setup stops working, once the Invoke looses it's settings due to a power outage or the need to update the wifi connection It seems that it can then only be used as a 'Bluetooth' device. Very disappointing.

2020-09-24T22:01:21+00:00 since MS is discontinuing Cortana on invoke I believe they are slowly cutting server usage.
did you try the tiny reset pin hole good luck.
you might as well get used to just having a really good Bluetooth speaker.
and collect your hush money from MS

2020-09-24T18:30:43+00:00 So now my Invoke will not even do ANYTHING. It has a spinning green light at the top. I can hold down any and every button but it does not respond to anything. After unplugging it, it immediately starts the spinning green light. AAAGGH!
Has anyone else had this happen? It's just a constant yellow or green light that spins. No button pushes or resets affect it at all. Not even the "put a pin in the tiny hole" does anything to it. :(
