mat-debug-xxxx.log files

I install yesterday the 2004 windows update. it do not install a office and no localbridge. good to see my PC is office clean

You don't have a virus. It probably is coming from a Microsoft Update as suggested by BillPosse's post but either way if you want to get rid of the problem without creating any other issues Nirsoft is the way to go.

I test the nirsoft program and i have too a localbridge installed and some office . I look in windows my apps and feature if i can from there and type office. there is list a office with around 27 MB from 6.6.20 . strange who have install this. I dont think i have a virus.

I'm 95% sure that mine came from a Microsoft update.  Never had an issue with those log files prior to an update from M$.

You'd think with all the people that have encountered the problem, M$ would give us a proper fix.  Doesn't anybody monitor thes forums ?

If you do what I did and use what GaryB007 suggested using nirsoft.net you won't have any further problems with mat-debug files piling up in your temp folder. It fixed the problem and did not create any new ones going forward.
