mat-debug-xxxx.log files

Why are these files appearing in quantity (every 15 minutes), while running Windows 10 home, in my /apps/local/temp folder? They did not appear before the last 3 days ago.

    Running MSCONFIG.EXE worked for me.  Reboot the first time with "normal startup".

    Hello -- Thanks for the  info --- is MS Disk Cleaner  the  cleanmgr.exe program? 

    Sorry -- I  generally use a cmd window to type all my commands

    I am having this issue too on all of my win10 machines -- and none are dell  -- Does anyone have a clue what app is creating these files --- it seems to me that mat-debug-xxxx.tmp  the xxxx in the name is the PID  that created it  anyone with a clue to this issue

    Since youre not using it. Try to uninstall it first and see if it helps.
