Well, it seems that I was too early with my conclusion. As soon as I restarted my laptop, I got this:
And then checking Windows update and there it is again!
Does Microsoft check this blog at all? Can they not solve this?

As the title says. I have tried downloading and installing manually and through windows update. This will not install. Any help?

I have tried every single other fix on the internet (fix.bat, try installing from a different administrator profile, try manual install) and nothing has allowed me to install this download. I don't know what BumbleBounce means by c:$getcurrent.
I did not want to have to wipe my system to do this. Does anyone else have a link that works for more things to try?

2020-03-01T15:09:38+00:00 Well, as nobody replied here and I got fed up with trying and searching, I have completely re-installed Windows 10. After installation all updates installed fine and my Problem is solved.
