StartUpCheckLibrary.dll missing!

After upgrading my machine to Windows 10, 1909, the following window pops up every time I turn on my PC

HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Windows update

To remove the StartupCheckLibrary.dll error, first download Autoruns:

https://live.sysinternals.com/Autoruns.exe

  • Run Autoruns.exe as administrator.
  • In the Filterbox up top Enter: startupcheck
  • You should see a Task Scheduler entry:\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\StartupCheckLibrary
  • Right click on this entry and Delete.

...and that's the end of the error.

BTW Ignore any advice that recommends restoring this dll from quarantine. It's a CoinMiner and you really don't want it!

    Hi Joseph,

    With curiosity , would you say that that .dll file that we might exclude from the defender will not make our machine vulnerable ?

    If so, then would that be a false alarm by the Windows Defender Antivirus Software?.
