StartUpCheckLibrary.dll missing!

After upgrading my machine to Windows 10, 1909, the following window pops up every time I turn on my PC

HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Windows update

To remove the StartupCheckLibrary.dll error, first download Autoruns:

https://live.sysinternals.com/Autoruns.exe

  • Run Autoruns.exe as administrator.
  • In the Filterbox up top Enter: startupcheck
  • You should see a Task Scheduler entry:\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\StartupCheckLibrary
  • Right click on this entry and Delete.

...and that's the end of the error.

BTW Ignore any advice that recommends restoring this dll from quarantine. It's a CoinMiner and you really don't want it!

    Hi all,

    I add the same problem.

    I followed the instructions but problem persist.

    I found solution here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hknwWRXF48

    It consist on install Microsoft Autoruns from here : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns

    Then you will have a view of all that is started with Windows.

    Delete the line related to StartupCheckLibrary.dll ( "not found line" ) ... and then reboot ... problem is solved ( at least for me it is ).
