Out of Windows 10 Minecraft redeem codes?

You will no longer be able to redeem your free Minecraft Windows 10 code from Mojang. This had to be done by Monday 20th April 2020.

.

.

.

So I'm trying to redeem Minecraft for Windows 10 (I purchased the game back in 2011) and I keep getting this error upon hitting the redeem button:

Error! It looks like we've temporarily run out of gift codes for Minecraft for Windows 10. Don't worry though, more codes should be on their way. Please check back later!

Are there really no codes available right now or is this a error on my end somehow?

This thread has run its course and would be locked. Those seeking Minecraft Windows 10 edition should see a code on the redeem page.

Windows 10 Code Error - Fixed!

The redemption program would end on April 20, 2020 so make sure to get the code before.

If you purchased Minecraft Java Edition before October 18, 2018, you will see a button that says “Redeem” in your account.

·       If the button is grayed out, you’ve already claimed the code. Log in to your Microsoft account to redownload the game.

·       If you don’t have a Redeem button, you purchased Minecraft Java Edition after October 18, 2018 and are not eligible for this promotion.

update: 17th April 2020

Mojang are aware that there are no codes available at the moment, for those eligible. They are actively working on this and will get it working before the deadline.

First of all, download the demo version of Minecraft on the Windows Store. Then:

Just head to the Microsoft Contact us page, enter the virtual agent, then say "no minecraft windows 10 codes" and then click no until the agent offers the option to talk to a real person. Then click "chat" and wait. Make sure you have a screenshot of either the page (error, the date and the button. Also important to include the address bar) or the receipt from Mojang. Then when someone answers, say that you are receiving errors when trying to redeem the Windows 10 Minecraft. They will ask for the screenshot(s). Ask for the Secure FIle Transfer link, and then upload your files there. Say that you sent the files. Then the attendant will ask for your gamertag. After a while, if you had registered your e-mail on the Email app, a notification will pop up, with a message from Xbox Costumer Support. Say "thanks" and "goodbye" to the attendant and say "no, thank you" (obviously, only if you don't need more help) when they ask if you need help with something else. Then click "End Chat" and a survey will appear. After that, answer it and send. Then close the window.

Now, enter the MS Store Minecraft and instead of asking you to buy, it will ask you to login. Click it and select your account. Now, it will be just like all other Bedrock Minecraft versions, and all your texture packs, world models, skins, Realms, Minecoins will come as well. Happy gaming!
