I am Trying to Claim my windows 10 version of minecraft. I purchased the game back in 2016. however when I click the claim free code button. I receive a message at the top of the screen saying that you guys have run out of codes.

I am on PC

its been two months and no codes

mojang has also been completely unresponsive for a month and a half

THIS^^^ i just finished talking to a rep and i have the game on my account. just follow this and hope to get a rep that can help. please be kind to the customer support they are very helpful and do their best being toxic toward them will only hurt your chance to get the game.

I followed the link, spoke to Finn and after providing a screenshot and waiting a very short amount of time, they managed to redeem the code on my microsoft account for me. They even stuck around while I was having sign in problems, and offered to use remote access to assist me further. So I can confirm that this works. I've been trying almost every day since November the 15th to get the code. Only took me two support chats in total to finally get it. I'm ever so happy :)

edit -- just to add, i've also been following this thread since pretty much the start, so it's taken me a while but i've finally got it, don't give up if you're still trying :)

How do we get the original transaction ID, I bought the game in 2011 so I dont have the email anymore and I dont see it on mojang or minecraft websites.
