My Microsoft Order is still Pending

So i ordered a Surface laptop 3 on December 1st, and I know that is black Friday so there were probably a lot of orders but i would love to have some sort of reassurance that my item will be delivered on time. It's been stuck in pending literally since i hit purchase and it says that the estimated delivery date is Dec 12, but that's in three days, and i highly doubt it'll get here by then if it still hasn't shipped. I have a trip to go on a few days after it's supposed to arrive and it would be nice to have my new laptop for it.

Why doesn't Microsoft do better with the orders page? It should tell you if there's an issue or if it's sold out or if there's just a high volume of orders and that it may not arrive on time. I'd feel much better if it just gave me something, like Amazon does. 

Anyway, is there any way to find out the true status, more than just a lousy "pending"? And maybe a eay to ensure it gets here sooner, like pay a little extra?

    From uk store? Appeently it should arrive by the day oin your email and pending status will not change until the order os shipped

    1000+ people have the same problem, plus hundreds of replies confirming that this is a huge problem. Come on, Bill Gates! You know better than to ignore all of us! 

    After this experience, I will be boycotting Microsoft products in the future. That means I'll be switching back to Playstation after my xbox dies. Look what you made me do.

    I have been waiting for a status changed from pending since Nov 26th was supposed to be delivered on December 2nd... money already out of my bank since day 1.... numerous calls to customers services and now I sit here while they "escalate" first experience with Microsoft store and will be the last!

    The 2 links which you provided was not that helpful, and am not sure why Microsoft is not supporting with customer care. the links are going round and round.

    i made a purchase on 24th NOV and today Dec 17th it is still showing as Pending.

    Please help me with direct help if you can.
