My Microsoft Order is still Pending

So i ordered a Surface laptop 3 on December 1st, and I know that is black Friday so there were probably a lot of orders but i would love to have some sort of reassurance that my item will be delivered on time. It's been stuck in pending literally since i hit purchase and it says that the estimated delivery date is Dec 12, but that's in three days, and i highly doubt it'll get here by then if it still hasn't shipped. I have a trip to go on a few days after it's supposed to arrive and it would be nice to have my new laptop for it.

Why doesn't Microsoft do better with the orders page? It should tell you if there's an issue or if it's sold out or if there's just a high volume of orders and that it may not arrive on time. I'd feel much better if it just gave me something, like Amazon does. 

Anyway, is there any way to find out the true status, more than just a lousy "pending"? And maybe a eay to ensure it gets here sooner, like pay a little extra?

    Hi All,

    I likewise ordered an Xbox Elite Series 2.  Here's my experience.

    • I put in the order on May 27th.
    • The order said "pending" immediately afterward.  I was billed three different times on my credit card over the next two weeks without anything happening to the status, and each time the charge did not go through and was withdrawn.
    • On about June 17th I got an updated email saying the new delivery date was estimated at June 22d.  No tracking information.
    • June 22d came and went.  The status online was still "pending."
    • Today, June 24th, the controller arrived.  No warning; it just showed up on my doorstep.  The status of the order has now been updated to "delivered," with the tracking information added (FedEx).  The status stayed as "pending" until after delivery.
    • Presumably, there will now be an actual charge on my credit card that will go through.

    All in all, a frustrating experience.

    Same here but i was charged 3 times and my bank deducted woth a hold now thise vgarges dissappesref and im put 424$$$$?$

    Check ur bank statement some times they put back in then take back then put in

    Check bank statement sometimes take out then back in then back out and till order is ship it won't say shipped if u still think they took more contake them just explain
