My Microsoft Order is still Pending

So i ordered a Surface laptop 3 on December 1st, and I know that is black Friday so there were probably a lot of orders but i would love to have some sort of reassurance that my item will be delivered on time. It's been stuck in pending literally since i hit purchase and it says that the estimated delivery date is Dec 12, but that's in three days, and i highly doubt it'll get here by then if it still hasn't shipped. I have a trip to go on a few days after it's supposed to arrive and it would be nice to have my new laptop for it.

Why doesn't Microsoft do better with the orders page? It should tell you if there's an issue or if it's sold out or if there's just a high volume of orders and that it may not arrive on time. I'd feel much better if it just gave me something, like Amazon does. 

Anyway, is there any way to find out the true status, more than just a lousy "pending"? And maybe a eay to ensure it gets here sooner, like pay a little extra?

    Mine had did the same! 

    no shipping email or anything just pending ans then one day it shows up

    it sucks

    Just hold out. 

    Mine came the 4th which was nice but it took way too long. I didnt receive a shipping email or anything notifying me it shipped it just said pending. 

    Things rn for xbox are in high demand, nearly every console and controller are sold out

    Yes! I ended up getting it may 30th. 

    didnt get any email that it shipped it just showed up at my door. I just think its the lack of people working rn.

    I had ordered an Xbox controller on Saturday March 28, 2020. Its been 3 days and the orders still pending, but i’ve been charged already. I just want my controller man. 

    Same here, just put in an order for an Elite 2 and a headset, the headset showed up today by itself, had to check my order to see that the controller was still Pending. I think there are some delays going on with the controllers. If you look on the product page, the little blurb off to the side says "Get it as soon as April 21st". Be nice if they were a little more forward with that info lol of course they charged me for both up front, hopefully it's not that long of a wait!
