My Microsoft Order is still Pending

So i ordered a Surface laptop 3 on December 1st, and I know that is black Friday so there were probably a lot of orders but i would love to have some sort of reassurance that my item will be delivered on time. It's been stuck in pending literally since i hit purchase and it says that the estimated delivery date is Dec 12, but that's in three days, and i highly doubt it'll get here by then if it still hasn't shipped. I have a trip to go on a few days after it's supposed to arrive and it would be nice to have my new laptop for it.

Why doesn't Microsoft do better with the orders page? It should tell you if there's an issue or if it's sold out or if there's just a high volume of orders and that it may not arrive on time. I'd feel much better if it just gave me something, like Amazon does. 

Anyway, is there any way to find out the true status, more than just a lousy "pending"? And maybe a eay to ensure it gets here sooner, like pay a little extra?

    There won't be button to return if u force bank to stop action hard say how long ull wait for ur money

    Its pre order u can check ur bank to see if action been takin sometimes they take out then put back in so many times but if u want no when comin that won't answer that u have call microsoft in Toronto when open see wats goin on with ur order and I there not open till nine I beleive I waited almost 2 months for my controller trust me its very frustrating microsoft got start doin better job

    I just got my controller  all can say if u force stop it u could wait longer for ur money to return u should call see wats goin on then go from there it sounds like ur on pre order which hard say when come but if u call might give u better reason wats goin on

    The problem is that I can't find the button "request a refund" which is supposed to be visibly present next to my order status. Nothing, but " pending" status, whereas I was already charged via my visa card. Meanwhile, I duno where to call ? No Microsoft store open in Toronto at the moment.

    I ordered Xbox controller 1 on Jun-18 and the order status has been always "pending" since. I tried in vain to request a refund. Can anyone help ?
