My Microsoft Order is still Pending

I've already replied to the post before stating my updates, but I'm not sure everyone has seen it. As a recap, I purchased my Elite 2 controller on April 17th. The original arrival date was said to be between April 21st-23rd. I contacted customer support on April 20th, and they stated that the item is on backorder and will now arrive on May 6th. Just to check on any potential progress, I contacted customer support again on April 23rd for another update. They stated that May 6th is still the ETA.

To add, my order has been pending this whole time. Being that the item is back-ordered and from the feedback on this thread, you will most likely not see a change to this order status until the item has already arrived.

Essentially you have two options, wait for your controller for approximately 2-3 weeks from the original arrival date or cancel and try to find one at another retailer. My opinion is just waiting. I've tried to find this controller at other online retailers and along with the ease of any potential warranty claims buying directly from Microsoft, I couldn't find it anywhere else without it being back ordered or marked up 20%-50%.

Yeah... same I just wanna know if there out of stock so I can get my money back if its gonna take forever

I purchased an elite 2 controller March 27 and my order STILL (almost 3 weeks later!!!) says pending. Email said expected delivery date Apr 8. Ive called microsoft support MULTIPLE times in the past week and they made a case for me and that i should receive a call/email but its been a week and they told me today there hasnt been any updates. I called back again today and the agent who helped me was super nice but told me suprisingly, even though my order said pending via email, that i should recieve my order today with UPS even though theres no tracking number. Kind of sketchy but ultimately its 10pm and the package never came. Kind of false hope. They told me if i didnt receive it that i should call back tomorrow and theyd make ANOTHER case. 

I wouldve understood if its a customized controller but its literally just a controller in a box sitting in a warehouse. 

Not sure how to act at this point. :/ 

Update 4/15:

spoke with a supervisor finally and they told me their shipments from china have been delayed and that theyd possibly receive them to their warehouse sometime this week or next week and the status of my order should hopefully change by then. 

On the website tho, the product says get it as soon as June 1st sooo 🥴

Was following this post yesterday since I was in the same boat. I ordered an xbox and an extra controller on Sunday, the controller was sent out monday morning and i got it Thursday, but as of Thursday night the xbox was still pending. I was going to call them today, but this morning it was finally processed with next business day shipping (didn't pay for express), so it turns out it will still be here within the 7 business days after all.

I've never once not been given a tracking number within 24 hours from an online order. Pretty frustrating, I hope Microsoft ups their game in the future. At least give some kind of communication.

It's also pretty shocking that there's no way to contact them regarding orders in any way other than by phone, especially frustrating since my company normally paid my phone bill, but suspended it while we're shut down and the sim card ordered I didn't come till today. If you can place orders without a phone you should be able to seek support without one too. 

But at the end of the day it's still being delivered on time, so it's not so bad.

Nevermind, it shipped the day after, not pending anymore, its arriving tomorrow! CANT WAIT!
