you can only do a search in a chosen spot. once you go out to another file you lose the search tab. this is ridiculous. how can we communicate to microsoft to get them to fix this glitch immediately? you cannot easily search and on my lap top i can enter anything into the search box at all.
Missing search tab - File Explorer (Windows 10 - 1909)
Hello,
I have installed the latest update of windows 10 (home and pro).
Windows 10 Pro - 1909 (v. 18363.476)
Now the "search" tab is no longer in the folders and I can't clear the search history either. Where is this tab?!

2020-04-12T05:26:29+00:00 It appears I have the same problem as well. Some of the helpful tips here got me pointed in the right direction...thanks all.
But beyond that, I would hope this is on Microsoft' repair radar. Would be nice to get a tabbed file explorer too without using some third party too. Seems you can tab in a browser, why not in the file explorer.
