Hi,

Since I updated Windows 10 a few days ago my computer won't boot. It displays the Lenovo logo screen, but doesn't go any further. It doesn't load any Windows screen for me to attempt recovery environment.

I don't know how to recover it. Can you help?

Thanks

    Hello my computer has been

    Saying this

    102 system bourd failure

This is an unrecoverable error.  Your computer needs servicing.

And at the bottom it has these keys saying

    F9 Boot menu

    F10 setup

    F12 network

And none of them work please help.

I, too, have had issues since 2 Windows Updates that loaded December 20th (KB4515871 and KB4524570).

Unable to boot up fully or, if it does, 100% of CPU is occupied with no processes shown to be using CPU capacity in Task Manager.

Boot up failures = Stop code: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED.

Did the 3x boot up, shut-off process to get to the repair menus and no repair options worked.

Went into Safe Mode w/ Networking and uninstalled both Windows Updates and Google (which also updated on 20th) in case of a conflict.  Adobe Acrobat DC also updated on the 20th, but I've been unable to uninstall for some reason.  (Analyzing other tools/options to do so.)

Rebooted after the above uninstalls and (a) Windows reinstalled those updates and (b) still hit the same stop code and/or frozen PC (100% CPU usage w/o any process attribution) . . . leaving only the 3x boot up, shut-off process and safe mode start up options.

Additionally, the subject Windows Updates no longer carry uninstall option.  I'm stuck with them now.

Fingers crossed that (a) Adobe is the conflicting program, (b) I can get it uninstalled and (c) this b/s, unnecessary and Windows-triggered problem on my gaming PC during my first vacation of 2019 ends soon.

    Any thoughts/recommendations very much appreciated.

I have the same problem ... I cannot restart after the last auto update a few days ago. NOTHING I try gets me to the safe mode or any mode that gives me an opportunity to “fix” the system.

MICROSOFT SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL REPAIRS AND DAMAGES!!!!

So much time has been wasted the past 2 days trying to get my work computer back up and running.

    Super FRUSTRATING

Very tired of Microsoft as there are way too many updates that need to be fixed and this last one has destroyed my laptop and already 2 days of work!!!!!

I ultimately worked my way through their Contact Us process (a lengthy one that tries to limit the # of people they have to speak to) and got a Microsoft rep on the phone.  I let her remote in and she reinstalled Windows 10 for me.  Other than one minor post-reinstall glitch (start menu didn't work until the PC went through one more auto-scan), it's been running smoothly.   Their post-call customer service has been so thorough that the calls and emails almost became too much, but they clearly wanted to close the issue and the "ticket."  Give it a shot.  Saved me a few more days of self-help exercises that may not have ultimately worked.

Thanks for the suggestion... I decided to put it aside till next week when I return from vacation. But upon return I will be immediately faced with the problem as my office work will grind to a full stop until I can get it repaired. I pulled the hard drive and looked at it with an other computer I had. All my files and programs seem to be there and in good order... just can’t get the operating system up and running to open anything.
