Hi! Just an update! after months of preventing my workstation/pc to update to 20H2, what I did first is to update my BIOS, then install 20H2. Now its working fine.
PC won't boot after lastest Windows 10 update
Hi,
Since I updated Windows 10 a few days ago my computer won't boot. It displays the Lenovo logo screen, but doesn't go any further. It doesn't load any Windows screen for me to attempt recovery environment.
I don't know how to recover it. Can you help?
Thanks

2021-03-17T16:38:31+00:00 It wasn't actually a store I took the laptop, it was a small independent shop. They did try to sort it out over the telephone, free of charge but still had to take it in person.
They tried again while I waited, but to no avail.
The laptop is not much use as it is so I left it with them.
Am hoping for the best.

2021-03-18T05:46:49+00:00 I learned a trick. If you turn it off and then on using the button, 3 times, it will reboot in safe mode. At least it has worked for me and I've been able to not take the battery out each time which is a royal pain in the butt on my Dell.

I tried that trick of turning it on and off 3 times but it didn’t work for me, it showed me a blue screen with 3 options 2 times but everytime I got there I wasn’t able to pick any of the options...
Now I’ve left it in the IT store and hopefully I’ll get it back and working soon because it’s my work computer.
