GordonL2, I hear you Brother. I had the same problem two years ago with my PC after an update. This has something to do with your Microsoft Account Login. I don't remember the exact details, however, on a computer that works, log into your MS account and see how it's set up for a PIN. You should be able to change that once you log into your MS account (online). I ended up changing my PC from a GD Windows 10 Microsoft Account Login to simply a Local PC password, in other words I don't log into GD MS each time I turn on my PC. The PIN number is setup somehow in your Account on your Computer, or maybe you had set one up with an X-Box? I'm hoping this helps a little, I wish I could help more. Best of luck, another "happy" Windows user.
PC won't boot after lastest Windows 10 update
Hi,
Since I updated Windows 10 a few days ago my computer won't boot. It displays the Lenovo logo screen, but doesn't go any further. It doesn't load any Windows screen for me to attempt recovery environment.
I don't know how to recover it. Can you help?
Thanks

2021-03-17T10:56:10+00:00 I’m having the same problem, I updated my pc and then it said I had to restart so I did but my pc was stuck on the restarting screen for hours so I decided to turn my computer off and on again to see if it would help, not I’m stuck on a the windows screen or the black screen of death... when I try to get into safe mode nothing shows up...
Please help!
UPDATE: I took it into the IT shop and they were able to fix it. They had to take out a faulty hard drive and re install windows, unfortunately they were only able to download windows 7 but I’ve updated it already.

Have had to take the laptop to a computer repair store
They tried but had no success. They said they would have to unlock the device so have left it with them. Will let you know how it goes.
