Good Grief, it looks like Windows Updates are causing all kinds of havoc. My problem was I got a blank screen, my PC would not even post. I wish they would offer "Lock in for Life." Only Security updates, nothing more!

Hi,
Since I updated Windows 10 a few days ago my computer won't boot. It displays the Lenovo logo screen, but doesn't go any further. It doesn't load any Windows screen for me to attempt recovery environment.
I don't know how to recover it. Can you help?

2021-02-17T05:11:52+00:00 Hey! I have the same symptoms in my PC what I did is to reinstall Windows, however after reinstalling it updates to 20H2, and problem occurred again, what I did to fix it is to revert back to previous version of Windows.

I recently updated my BIOS, however haven't tried to install again 20H2.

Greetings Brother, I ended up Resetting my BIOS to DEFAULT values. My build would not POST at all, so I had to reset the BIOS via the Motherboard Reset. However, IF you can get into your BIOS settings, there should be a RESET setting in the settings. Usually, in the BOOT settings, there is a selection for DEFAULT values. I don't know if this will work on an HP, however, Microsoft obviously did something to the boot section of the HD that screws up the BIOS settings. I am running an AUSU 570 MB with a RYZEN 2700, I did not have any special settings in my BIOS, however, once I RESET to DEFAULT everything was good. Good Luck to you, I hope this helps.
