Hi,
Since I updated Windows 10 a few days ago my computer won't boot. It displays the Lenovo logo screen, but doesn't go any further. It doesn't load any Windows screen for me to attempt recovery environment.
I don't know how to recover it. Can you help?

You are not alone, the same thing happened to me. I managed to force a restart and I disabled Fast Startup which means I can now boot up but it is very slow. I too feel Microsoft are ignoring us. And no, I don't want to reload Windows for the umpteenth time to find the next update wrecks it again.
I updated my computer last night and when I came home it would not start. It was going to a blue screen that said it was missing a file and it had an error code. Now it just goes to the MOBO logo Aorus and sits there. I've downloaded the media creation tool onto a UBS drive via another computer. But booting from this USB drive doesn't work either.
It's like the update reset my bios or triggered a reset. I say this because I had to enable XMP for my RAM.
I've tried so many things. I need this computer. It's mind blowing how an update can cause so much harm and disruption. Please help

What a PAIN in the **** this has become. My computer was DOA for a few days, I had to go into the bios, pull the battery and reset the BIOS back to factory settings to get my PC to come back to life. IF you can do this I would recommend it. Don't FLASH or UPDATE your BIOS. I have an AORUS MB as well (B450 Elite) .Get the manual for your Motherboard and find the two pins for resetting your motherboard's BIOS. IF you don't have the manual, go to the Gigabyte website and download one. with the power off, remove the battery, and (carefully) short the two pins with either a jumper or (very carefully) a flat head screwdriver for just a few seconds. Put the battery back in and power it up. That was what I ended up doing, and trust me it's a pain. With the Pandemic I've been working from home since March 2020 and I use my PC everyday, Microsoft should understand this. However, I don't think they care. Good Luck, and I hope this helps.
Turning off Fast Start solved this for me.
Hi! I think I have the same case with GavinCarroll, after the latest update (20H2) my PC is experiencing this kind of stuck-up boot screen, my system is an HP Z820, Intel Xeon E5-2670, what I did is I revert back to older version of Windows to make my PC functioning and disabled Windows update.
