Hi,

Since I updated Windows 10 a few days ago my computer won't boot. It displays the Lenovo logo screen, but doesn't go any further. It doesn't load any Windows screen for me to attempt recovery environment.

I don't know how to recover it. Can you help?

Thanks

My laptop is a Asus X555Y quad core with AMD A8 with radeon graphics.

The laptop has updated to the newest windows 10. Since then, when booting up it won't allow it to go any further than putting the password in. Instead it wants a pin number, which I have never had. When I try to make a  new pin it tells me there is no internet connection. I know there is because I still receive email and I can use  Netflix.

Also, it will not shut down except by pressing the power button.

    Can anyone help, please.

    Rregards

I have the exact same problem. I've had windows 10 since October. Brand new dell, and it's slower than slow. And EVERY time there is an update, I have to spend 3 hours trying to fix the mess. I don't understand why we went from windows 8 which was lovely to this crappy program that can make a new computer feel 15 years old.

i never got any fix. for mine I haven't tried to upgrade BIOS , mine wont even boot up. i may try again to see what happens but i may just call it a bust and trash the laptop.

Have you contacted Microsoft? Do that first before giving up!

My son found that the Intel sound driver was incompatible with the insider build. Once he updated the new drivers it has been working again.

Has everyone posting tried turning off fast start? It gets reinstated with new Windows updates, so needs to be turned off each time. Worked instantly for me.
