PC won't boot after lastest Windows 10 update

I gave up trying, even had the "Geek Squad" try to help.

Finely dumped the computer and Windows and went with Apple.

IMPORTANT: you did not loose your files, they're on your HDD/SDD.

Was your machine outdated for a long time? I had this problem and could not solve it. Your PC is not bricked - W10 can't boot properly. Your files are all intact - you can either copy them with a Linux (Xubuntu is the one I use) live memory stick or reinstall W10.

1. Xubuntu Live - you'll find info on how to do the live boot online. Do not install! Choose "try without installing". All you have to do is connect an external HDD and copy the files. If you have any problems mounting the internal HDD, send a message - I can't leave home anyway!
2. This might be the best for most people: Do a recovery. I'll search a guide and post here. You must choose "keep my files and documents".https://www.lifewire.com/reset-this-pc-2626216

The best practice is to use (1) for a backup and then do (2).

Please, read carefully the instructions and remember that you must choose the correct option otherwise you'll loose your files.

Daniel, your machine is probably not bricked. "Bricked" means it does not move, does not make a noise and no LEDs turn on. If it turns on, it's not bricked. I've been installing windows since 3.1 (yep, I'm that old) and never saw a single machine get bricked. I'll keep an eye out for any questions!

Since my last WIN10 update my new laptop keeps locking up.  When I run any diagnostics I never find anything wrong.  I can try the battery thing but you mention you've done it more than once.  I had mine out once to get the serial # and got locked again the following week.  If there's a MS fix or anything else more permanent that I can try let me know,PLEASE!!!

My computer would not successfully reboot during updates so I had to manually power cycle my computer. Now the computer won't even post. Mine is a custom build with a ryzen 2700x, 16 GB DDR4, 2 RX 580's and a Samsung PCIe NVMe solid state drive.

I'm wondering if Microsoft will replace my hardware since it seems one of their updates bricked my machine.

Oh I seriously doubt it.  Microsoft never admits to any problems.  I had to remove the battery from my laptop and reinstall it a few minutes later for it to begin working again.  On the other hand, it never hurts to try to get them to own up and do something for you.  good luck let me know,
